Purchasing wedding bands? We think that the best thing to decide on is bands that are unique to you and your fiancé, matching your individual styles and tastes. Here are some of our favorite trends in current wedding bands.

    Eternity Bands:

Many brides today love the idea of having diamonds on both their engagement ring and on their wedding bands. Eternity bands are a beautiful way to compliment your engagement ring.

    Stacked Wedding Rings:

This trend is a wonderful way to create a ring that is entirely your own. Stacking 2 or three rings can be a beautiful alternative to the traditional single band. Also, starting with one and adding more bands later creates a built-in anniversary gift for the years to come.

    Engraving:

Engraving makes every ring a touch more personal, with a message inscribed on the inside of the band. Here at WeddingBands.com, we offer free engraving!

    Colored Stones:

We love the idea of including colored stones in wedding bands. From sapphires to rubies, there are a plethora of options.

We also love the idea of combining a few of these trends together! The most important thing is that you love your ring, and will love wearing it everyday! The selection is vast, and possibilities are endless, so find a band that is the perfect representation of your love for each other.

Summer is the time of year for weddings. That left us thinking, what styles of wedding dresses would be popular this year? The answer may surprise you.

    1. Embellished Belts

Everywhere we looked, it seemed like a jeweled belt was there. This trend is great for flattering almost every figure, so it is one we really like.

    2. Modified Mermaid Silhouettes

Easier to move in, this trend is replacing the more traditional mermaid styles. Also, it is more dramatic that other traditional styles, like the trumpet style, and is a twist on the classic, flattering fit-and-flare style.

    3. Separates

Instead of changing into a whole new dress for the reception, separates allow the bride to change her look by simply changing the skirt or bodice for a fresh new look.

    4. Sheer coverage

This style allows for more coverage with just a touch of skin showing. It works with many different necklines, so its versatility makes the look wonderful.

    5. Keyhole Necklines

This trend is one of our favorites because it adds drama and flair to the classic strapless neckline, with a similar amount of coverage.

    6. Texture

Whether added through tiers, lace, or a statement addition like a big bloom, we love the idea of adding interest to a gown through simple texture.

What do you think of these trends? What looks would you incorporate into your own wedding dress?

Its time to get creative with your engagement rings! Engagement bands are becoming less traditional. What are the trends for this summer?

    1. Diamonds all around the band

There is nothing like a band of diamonds to really set your ring apart. The extra stones add both extra sparkle, and make the center stone appear larger!

    2. Colored Stones

Colored engagement bands are a hit for the nontraditional bride. There are literally no limits to the colors you can choose. Sapphires, Rubies, and colored Diamonds are all popular choices.

    3. Raised Settings

Many bands now are featuring intricate settings. What could be better to accentuate the beauty of your stone than a delicate bow or a detailed mold?

    4. Eco-friendly stones

Rings made with conflict-free diamonds and recycled gold settings are growing in popularity. If this is a trend you choose, another option would be to do an entire eco-friendly wedding!

What do you think of these trends? Do you prefer more traditional rings or more intricate bands? What does your dream engagement ring look like?
