Over the weekend, pop star Britney Spears got engaged to former manager Jason Trawick. They got engaged over a nice private dinner for Trawick’s 40th birthday. We just want to congratulate the pop princess on her new found love. We hope it lasts this time!

Details on engagement ring: Trawick gave Spears a Neil Lane designed engagement ring. The size of the center diamond is still unknown but we did read that it is a handmade platinum ring with 90 small round diamonds around the whole ring; creating the etnerity band look. It is a very simple yet elegant design. Congrats to Briteny Spears and Jason Trawick.

It’s always intereseting finding cute wedding proposals or marriages on the internet. This morning I found a video on youtube with by far a very unique way to propose. Who would have thought the inclusions in your diamond could mean something more than just flaws? Last week the newswire, Inside Science, reported the new findings on inclusions in diamonds. It can tell you more than you expect; just like amber gemstones.

Scientists and gemologist have discovered that the inclusion in the diamond can tell a story on the journey of the diamond and how long the diamond existed. Many diamonds tested showed an age of billion years old. Now, think about that. All those diamonds in your wedding ring or anniversary band took millions of millions of years to travel from the lower mantle of the earth to the upper mantle (near the continent). The new discovery will allow scientists to determine what is happening deep in the earth and gives physical proof of the carbon cycle.  

This discovery illustrates the reason diamonds are so rare, unique, and valuable. Each diamond tells a story and no two diamonds are the same! So, those diamonds in your engagement ring, wedding ring, and anniversary ring are unique to you and only you.

We have all been waiting to see the type of jewelry Kim Kardashian wore on her wedding day and the type of band Kris Humphries decided to wear. That day has finally come! People magazine had the exclusive rights to publish some wedding photos and as soon as it hit stands we went to find out all the info for our readers

Lets start off with the most important pieces for the Kardashian-Humphries, the wedding rings. Kim paired her beautiful 20.5 carat diamond engagement ring with a gorgeous diamond eternity ring. The eternity ring has emerald-cut diamonds that are over 15.0 carats in total weight. She’s a lucky girl. It seems as though many celebs are opting for the diamond eternity band for their wedding. We think this is a great choice for a wedding ring. It’s simple and can be worn by itself.  As for Kris, he went with an edgier look; opting for a  black gold wedding band with black diamonds. Our first time seeing pictures of his rings was from a distance and it looked like tungsten. Glad to hear he chose black gold, keeping the traditional use of gold in wedding bands. To accessorize with Kim’s wedding gown and rings, Kris Humphries gave her a beautiful diamond bracelet that is in the shape of a knot. Hanging off the knot are two “K” initials symbolizing Kris and Kim tying the knot. Details about the diamond bracelet is still yet to be revealed. Kim also wore a beautiful diamond headpiece, an estimated value of $2.5 million and about 65.0 carat total weight. We’re wondering if it was heavy to wear with all those diamonds on her! To match her unbelievable headpiece, she wore diamond drop earrings. The earrings are 28.0 carat total weight with round diamonds and diamond pear shaped dropping down; valued at $5.0 million. Luckily she borrowed the headpiece and diamond earrings.  Overall, she wore and accessorized the jewelry pieces beautifully and we love the idea of her with all those diamonds. Congratulations once again!

Many are anxiously waiting to see how Kim Kardashian looks on her wedding day. There is just one day before Kim and Kris Humphries take the step towards marriage. We are all wondering the gown she will wear and how she plans to accessorize the beautiful dress. One thing for sure is she will be wearing that beautiful 20.5 carat total weight engagement ring.
